Terms of Use for UZWay Keyboard

Effective date: July 28, 2026

These Terms govern use of UZWay Keyboard, provided by UZWay. By installing or using the App, the user agrees to these Terms. If the user does not agree, they should not use the App.

Service

UZWay Keyboard is an Android input method offering multilingual typing, text suggestions and correction, dictation through the device speech service, on-device translation, local AI-assisted editing, clipboard history, form-fill shortcuts, and user-configurable website shortcuts. Features may depend on the device, Android version, installed services, language, connectivity, and optional model downloads.

User responsibility

The user is responsible for text they enter, transform, store, or send; for reviewing AI-generated or translated output before use; for ensuring they have the right to process and share content; and for protecting sensitive information stored in clipboard history or form-fill entries.

The App must not be used to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, impersonate others, facilitate fraud, or create or transmit unlawful or harmful content.

AI, translation, and speech limitations

Suggestions, corrections, translations, speech results, and AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. They are assistive tools and are not professional, legal, medical, financial, safety, or emergency advice. Users must verify important output independently.

Third-party services and content

The App may use or link to third-party services, including Android speech recognition, Google ML Kit, Hugging Face, websites, and browser search. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. UZWay does not control third-party availability or content and does not endorse every destination accessible through a shortcut.

Ownership and licence

UZWay and its licensors retain all rights in the App, branding, and included materials. Subject to these Terms, the user receives a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on compatible Android devices. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licences and notices.

Except where law permits, users may not sell, sublicense, distribute modified versions, bypass security controls, or misuse the App or its services.

Availability and changes

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, models, downloads, or external links. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties not expressly required by law. UZWay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the App, third-party services, or reliance on generated output. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

The user may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may restrict service components when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or material violation of these Terms.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains information handling and is incorporated into these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules and without overriding mandatory consumer rights applicable in the user’s country.

Contact and changes

We may update these Terms and will publish the new version with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated when required.
